Common Troubleshooting Issues on the AURA Website

1. The Website Is Not Loading

Possible Causes:

  • Slow or unstable internet connection

  • Browser cache issues

  • Outdated browser version

How to Fix:

  • Refresh the page

  • Try opening the site in Chrome or Microsoft Edge

  • Clear browser cache and cookies

  • Disable browser extensions temporarily

  • Try incognito/private mode

If none of these work, restart your device and try again.


2. Unable to Log In

Possible Causes:

  • Incorrect email or password

  • Unverified account

  • Browser autofill errors

How to Fix:

  • Manually type your email and password

  • Use the “Forgot Password” option

  • Check if your verification email was completed

  • Try logging in from a different browser

If your email still shows as invalid, contact support.


3. OTP or Verification Email Not Received

How to Fix:

  • Check spam or junk folder

  • Ensure the email/number is entered correctly

  • Click “Resend OTP”

  • Wait at least 30–60 seconds before requesting again

  • Avoid multiple requests at the same time

If OTP delays persist, restarting your phone or switching networks can help.


4. Submission Upload Not Working

Possible Causes:

  • File too large

  • Unsupported file type

  • Slow internet while uploading

  • Browser compatibility issues

How to Fix:

  • Compress your file

  • Use the required file format (PDF, JPG, MP4, ZIP, Figma/GitHub link)

  • Avoid uploading using mobile hotspot

  • Switch to Chrome for best performance

  • Refresh and try uploading again

If file uploads fail repeatedly, take a screenshot and send it to support.


5. Website Looks Broken or Layout Is Distorted

Possible Causes:

  • Corrupted browser cache

  • Outdated CSS/JS files stored locally

  • Using an unsupported device

How to Fix:

  • Clear cache and refresh

  • Use a modern browser (Chrome recommended)

  • Zoom to 100% or reset browser display settings

  • Try on another device or screen size

If layout issues continue, please report the device + browser.


6. Task or Project Page Not Opening

How to Fix:

  • Refresh your dashboard

  • Check your internet connection

  • Log out and log back in

  • Disable ad-blockers or script blockers

  • Try opening the link in an incognito window

If the issue affects only one task, report the task name to support.


7. Slow Loading or Lag

How to Fix:

  • Close unused tabs

  • Ensure stable internet (WiFi over mobile recommended)

  • Clear browser cache

  • Reduce video quality if applicable

  • Try accessing during non-peak hours

If the site is unusually slow, it may be due to a platform update.


8. Payment Not Going Through

Possible Causes:

  • Payment gateway timeout

  • Incorrect card/UPI details

  • Bank server issues

How to Fix:

  • Retry after a few minutes

  • Try another payment method (UPI, card, net banking)

  • Ensure sufficient balance

  • Avoid switching apps during payment

  • Do not refresh the page mid-transaction

If the amount is deducted but not reflected, contact support with your transaction ID.


9. Skill Graph Not Updating

Possible Causes:

  • Mentor review pending

  • Submission incomplete

  • Incorrect file format

  • Revision requested

How to Fix:

  • Check if feedback is pending

  • Make sure you submitted the correct file

  • Review mentor notes and resubmit if needed

  • Refresh the dashboard after 5–10 minutes

If your graph stays unchanged for over 24 hours, contact support.


10. Buttons or Links Not Working

How to Fix:

 

  • Refresh the page

  • Disable ad blockers

  • Try a different browser

  • Zoom out to 100%

  • Clear cached website scripts

If the issue persists, note the specific button and send the details to support.
